Operations

Operations are the core of the company engine and the most value adding areas in many industries. During the last twenty years it has been agreed that the Operations’ typical performing features are cost, productivity, quality, time and flexibility. In the last years the firm has been seen as a promoter of the community’s development and of individuals’ capability of growing and developing their potential; this new perspective set new challenges in Operations’ performance measurement. We’ve developed a thorough set of methodologies and owned tools that embrace all of the Operations aspects, from Supply Chain to product development and services.

Our challenges

Supply chain

We support our Customers with a particular methodological approach for improving efficiency and effectiveness throughout the supply chain (distribution network, inventory, procurement, service level, flows, etc.). In the Italian scenario Supply Chain direct costs, no matter of the industry, can represent from 5% to 20% of a company’s revenues.

Production

We seek opportunities to reduce production inefficiencies: overstock, low compliance, scarce plants productivity, unnecessary moves, slow and burdensome transformations, stops and maintenance, unproper working time, low response to demand, waste of materials.

Support functions

We re-design and implement business’ support services, from administration to maintenance, to management control and other staff functions. Staff functions impact on average from 7% to 13% on revenue; potential recoveries may add points to EBITDA margins.
